RODBENDERS APRIL 2004 NEWSLETTER

Attached are the results after the April 3rd tournament at Lake
Bob Sandlin.  Multiple tournaments and a large contingent of
practice anglers for the Legend tournament faced our club at the
lake this month. It seemed like some fish were seen on beds,
but they weren't always cooperative. A few guys managed
to figure them out for some nice sacks of fish. Thanks to everyone,
including the new guys, for participating. It is by getting out there
and getting your line wet - time on the water - that will make you
a more successful bass fisherman.  A total of 46 fish were weighed
in at a total of 83.20 pounds, a 1.81 lb average.  First place went to
Dan Harris and James Cannon with a 10 fish, 16.75 pound stringer.
Dan and James were the only team to bring in a limit.
Coming in second place was the one-man team of Joe Singel
with a 5 fish, 12.49 pound sack. Third place went to the team of
Jeff Cade and Tony South, with 6 fish at 10.99 pounds.
Big Bass of the event went to newcomer Jason Hill with a nice
4.16 pound fish.
Looks like Martin's Cypress Springs hawg has survived
another month as Big Bass of the Year.
